DTM is an XML-based System i (AS/400, iSeries) product that brings the power of Data/Text Merge to the world of e-business.
IBM names DTM as the alternative to its discontinued OfficeVision/400 product. Most OV/400 features are supported.
Migration without rewrites
Existing documents import automatically or with a simple command. Replacement commands for OV/400 are provided, so existing applications do not have to change.
Two interfaces
Native 5250 green screen, or MS Word on Windows computers. Access is provided via a plugin installed from the System i.
